Subject: Small Front Yard Tree
Comments: I live near Dayton, OH and have a small front yard my home faces north. I would like to know what the expected habit of a magnolia northern belle would be here. It sounds like the tree is columnar reaching 15-25 tall and roughly 10 in diameter. Is this correct Can someone recommend a tree magnolia or other which would bloom late if it blooms and would grow to nicely fill such a space I think a 15-40 tall tree with a diameter of 15-30 and an oval or rounded habit would be great. I am open to suggestions. Most people in my neighborhood have Bradford Pear trees which look beautiful, but I like to be a little different. Thanks
